Over 40 years of experience as a financial advisor, and regularly conducts personal investment management seminars.

Has appeared on local WTVG Channel 13's, "Ask the Expert" noon newscast.  For 3 years, he was the host of a weekly television program called "Financial Forum" airing on Channel 48 in Toledo, Ohio.

Has been quoted in US News and World Report, Forbes, Huffington Post, and CNBC.

Served on the Board of Directors of the Toledo Estate Planning Council.

Former Chairman of the Board, three-time President, and Ethics Officer of the Northwest Ohio Chapter of the Financial Planning Association (FPA), a leading association for Certified Financial Planners.

Don has served on the program committee for the Society of Financial Service Professionals, now called the Toledo Estate & Financial Planning Council (TEPC). The TEPC is another leading association that helps financial advisors stay up to date on the ever-changing financial tools and techniques to help clients reach their goals.

Don fulfilled all the requirements for Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC) certification, including testing and supervised counseling, and utilizes this training to help clients avoid emotionally driven investment mistakes that negatively impact returns and the achievement of long-range financial goals. 

For the past fifteen years, Don has served as the local branch director for the Toledo Kingdom Advisors chapter (www.KingdomAdvisors.org). Kingdom Advisors has branches in over 200 cities throughout the U.S., and certifies and launches biblically wise financial professionals. Kingdom Advisors has been a great help to Don in integrating biblical wisdom to help clients achieve life balance while helping them achieve their long-term goals and objectives.

Don is an Amateur Radio operator with the call sign N8CDV, and enjoys talking with other "Hams" across the globe.

Don & his wife, Pam, have three children and are blessed with nine grandchildren. Don and Pam attend CALVARYChurch in Maumee, Ohio, where Don serves on the finance committee. They have both enjoyed teaching classes at CALVARYChurch on topics including "Freedom From Fear," "Freedom from Addiction," "Freedom in Christ," "Classic Christianity," "INSIDE OUT Life Transformation," "The Financial Hope Workshop," and "Put Emotions in their Proper Place."

Don & Pam enjoy great fulfillment in helping others find hope when times are tough through biblical counseling. Don is on the Board of Trustees for the Northwest Ohio-based Still Waters Biblical Counseling Ministry.
